Description
A very fine specimen of Clinoatacamite, a hydrated copper chloride, displaying substantial pseudo-octahedral, deep emerald green crystals measuring to a little over 8 mm. These are attractively scattered and intergrown over drusy colourless Quartz with underlying light blue Chrysocolla, on a reddish Quartz matrix. A fine specimen of Clinoatacamite from the Lily mine at Pisco Umay in the Ica Department of Peru.
