Crystal ClassicsFeatured
Tucson, Arizona, USAA quite charming single crystal of the lead carbonate Cerussite forming a long elongate prism with an asymmetric pointed termination from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The Cerussite is milky white with vertically striated faces resulting in an aesthetic silky lustre. Two edges feature an array of projecting Cerussite crystals which produce a sawtooth appearance. Dotted over the prism's surface are several tiny light apple green Smithsonite crystals which enhance this miniature even more.
