OTTENSITE with Stibnite
A very rare and rich, red to pinkish-red specimen of Ottensite, a sodium-potassium-antimony secondary mineral forming a minutely crystalline-botryoidal crust on partly naturally etched, metallic silver-grey prismatic crystals of Stibnite. This small miniature is from its type locality at the Qinglong mine in the Dachang Antimony Ore Field, situated in the Qianxi'nan Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, China. This Epithermal antimony-gold deposit lies within the Giant Sb metallogenic belt in southwest China. An excellent specimen of an extremely rare species.
