Tucson, Arizona, USAA spectacular, thick blocky tabular crystal of dark bottle green Epidote from the famed Green Monster Mountain on Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. This off-matrix specimen truly is a monster crystal, with well-developed prism faces and a near perfect termination. The crystal is opaque and such a dark green that it appears almost black. Where light does penetrate its translucent extremities, brilliant patches of bright, almost metallic lime green highlight the faces. Occasional small Quartz crystals are scattered over the faces. An amazing and chunky Epidote from Alaska, accompanied with the esteemed label of its well-known previous owner.\n
