Pyromorphite
Unknown Owner
A fine miniature specimen of Pyromorphite showing two phases of growth from Les Farges mine at Ussel in France. Crystals of lustrous light clove brown Pyromorphite measuring to 1.4 cm form a cluster overgrown by a druse of yellowish-green fine acicular Pyromorphite needles. The combination is beautiful and yet again, quite different form the more typical Les Farges material. This is indeed a delightful small miniature two phase Pyromorphite from this world famous locality.
