NATIVE Silver
A rich specimen displaying three areas of fine Native Silver wires on a partly altered tan Calcite matrix from Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. The smallest, central group contains the most delicate wires, while the other two are composed from more substantial wires, the largest area measures overall to an impressive 4.3 cm. Also on the specimen is a small Galena vein. Broken Hill specimens are seldom seen in the UK these days, but having said this, they have never been prolific to say the least! This is great opportunity to bag yourself a good example of Native Silver from this most fascinating and classic locality.
