A choice small miniature of deep double terminated Azurite crystals with a partial coating slightly altering to Malachite. In reflected and transmitted light, the edges of the crystals show flashes of vivid electric-blue. From the Tsumeb mine in Namibia, the prism faces are lightly striated parallel to the c-axis but have mirror-like termination faces. Azurite is one of the iconic species from Tsumeb and this is an attractive example.
