Translucent light aquamarine-green crystals of Fluorite, individually composed of intergrown cuboctahedral crystals measuring overall to 2.4 cm. These complex crystals form hemispherical globular domes over a spiky matrix of drusy white Quartz crystals, poking through a bed of white Kaolinite. This splendid and unusually-crystallised Fluorite is from the Deer Trail mine in the Mount Baldy-Ohio Mining District of Piute County. This specimen is also great for its fluorescence. Under LWUV the crystals fluoresce intense purple-white and under SWUV, purple. A gorgeous globular peppermint Fluorite from Utah, and fluorescent as well!
