A classic specimen of Alpine Cleft Quartz Gwindel from Fedenstock, Switzerland and displaying great form. The crystals of gemmy slightly smoky Quartz show the stacked tabular double terminated habit to excellent advantage with the screw dislocations (twist) to the crystal growth very apparent measuring to 10 cm+. A fine example of the Quartz variety
