A super specimen of lustrous Spessartine Garnet display a well-defined stepped and hopper crystal development with a deep rich red-brown colour and flashes of wine-red. Crystals of Spessartine are formed on both sides of a parallel crystal growth of white to colourless Quartz, many of which are double terminated. From the Navegadora Claim, Brazil.
