Purple-edged, gemmy to translucent colourless-white crystals of Fluorite form a fine large display specimen. The intergrown cubic Fluorite crystals measure to 2.4 cm on edge with a faintly yellow fluorescence as internal phantoms. Although labelled as from Trollers Gill, this is probably from just over the hill at the Gillheads mine (closed in the 1980s) in Skyreholme Beck Valley. Quality specimens of Fluorite from this mine are seldom seen available. Ex Günter Ertle collection.
