This is a really fine small display specimen of the classic brown Pyromorphite for which Friedrichssegen mine at Bad Ems, Germany is renowned. Excellent, well-developed hexagonal prismatic crystals of lustrous rich deep brown Pyromorphite measuring to 7 mm in length form a well-defined druse over a Galena-Baryte matrix. There are few places in the world that have produced the intensity of the brown tones seen in Pyromorphite specimens from Bad Ems and this is a great example in superb condition.
