Excellent sharp lustrous double and single terminated crystals of colourless to milky white Fluorapophyllite measuring to over 4 cm rest on a white Quartz druse covering a matrix of dark grey basalt from the Deccan Traps. This excellent cabinet specimen is from Nashik quarry in the Nashik District of Maharashtra State, India and is a great example of Fluorapophyllite. It has the sharp characteristic terminations for this species, which commonly often occurs with flat pinacoids in a pseudo-crystallised habit.
