This sweet little individual larger thumbnail-sized gem Elbaite tourmaline crystal is a sort of sceptred crystal. It features a fine gemmy green six-sided pyramidal termination capping a pale pink to sherry coloured naturally etched lower prism. Showing excellent gemmy translucency throughout this is a really lovely gem tourmaline from the Barra de Salinas pegmatites at Coronel Murta, Minas Gerais, Brazil. There is some small-scale chipping around the periphery of the termination, but the richness in colour and curious crystallization make this a really cute Elbaite tourmaline.
