What a superb miniature Fluorite from one of the premier Chinese localities, the Yaogangxian Mine! It is as much of a "jewel" as a fluorite can be. The Fluorite crystals are completely transparent and show cubic, purple phantoms at the core with a thick, pale purple-blue outer zone that also displays a purple phantom zone just outside the core. There are two main crystals, and there are also a few other Fluorite cubes intergrown with these two. Upon close inspection, the larger Fluorite displays a slightly rotated stepped growth pattern on the main face. The Fluorite crystals are distinctly formed with razor-sharp edges and perched on just the right amount of light colored matrix. It is hard to convey in photos, but this really is "prettier" than most others and although small in size, it leaps out to the eye.
