Mont Saint-Hilaire is the type locality for the rare phyllosilicate mineral carletonite, which is immediately recognizable by its distinctive dark blue coloration. This is a very colorful, rare and rich small cabinet specimen of intergrown crystals, the largest which measures 2 cm in length! This is a great Canadian classic, and a must have rarity! This is a HUGE and significant crystal of museum caliber from a private collection.
