Intergrown spheres of lustrous and translucent, apple green prehnite, to 3 cm across are associated with minor lustrous, blackish green epidote, in crystals to 1.5 cm in length. They form an unlikely stack, almost like a stalactite but not because the whole cluster grew against an epidote crystal, apparent from the vertical contact at the back. The result is that these prehnites show a vertical contact face on the backside which is interesting and unusual.
