Malachite ps. Azurite, with Cerussite
Super-sharp pseudomorph (replacement!) of Malachite after Azurite, where the original forms of the Azurites are well-preserved although chemically altered to the malachite now. The largest crystal extends over 3 cm, and it is very attractive. The Malachite surface has a delightful, variegated green color and a glistening luster, which borders on iridescent. This phenomenon is highly desirable and is rarely seen in Tsumeb pseudomorphs. Many of the pseudos like this are from the first oxide zone at Tsumeb (which dates this prior to the 1930s). There is even a nice, cyclic-twinned Cerussite that adds to the piece. This is a choice pseudo with great aesthetics, of a classic style unique to Tsumeb and to the old days there. 360 degrees, complete all around!
