Fluorite
This is a very unusual locality piece from northern New Mexico, not like any other New Mexico fluorite we have seen and, therefore, very interesting for any collector of USA fluorites! It was collected in the 1990s by Michael Sanders, whose label is still attached. It is a solid cluster of green-blue octahedral but cube-modified crystals richly coating a dolomite matrix. Note that in the photography studio lighting, the color is more green. In fluorescent overhead lighting in the office or hallway here, it is definitely more blue - so the color will change depending on your lights. David Stoudt built a memorable New Mexico collection, of which this was part (purchased in 2011).
