A very unusual, robust green smithsonite specimen from the classic old mines of Laurium, this aesthetic thumbnail stood out to me in the case of a major Greek collector who was selling specimens at Munich in 2016, and I had to snap it up. If you did not see the fluorite on back, you'd swear it was from Tsumeb! A highly unusual locality specimen.
