A phosphate lovers delight! A rarely seen specimen of the rare phosphate minyulite from a locality best known for variscite and metavariscite. Multiple radiating pincushion-like balls of pale yellow needles about 1.0 cm across cover the cabinet-sized specimen. Wavellite, fluellite (partially replaced by crandallite) and carbonate-fluorapatite dust the matrix in an array of whites and creams adding extra interest to the specimen. Overall a classic phosphate assemblage from a great locality! It was collected personally and long in the collection of Martin Jensen, a well known field collector.
