Panasqueira is often said to produce the most diverse and interesting crystals in the world, overall, for collectors. They heyday here was in the late 1960s and early 1970s; and recently a renewed - but different - production has come out since about 2015. This is an old style, an old classic habit, and a superb miniature from the Pohl collection. The photos say it all... this is a 2.8 cm across apatite of simply machined perfection, with transparency, gemminess, and color zoning. It could not be made more perfect if you carved it. It is simply a mesmerizing miniature, in person, and very three-dimensional. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - SCH280
