Splendent, black crystals of chalcocite, to 7 mm in length, accented with drusy, colorless quartz, are emplaced nicely on a black sulfide ore. This is a sparkling and beautiful miniature, and this species is very rare in crystallized quality from Tsumeb. A display-quality miniature - better in person, because the stunning luster of the chalcocite does not come through in the photos.
