Sperrylite
Here is a stunning rarity and competitive thumbnail that stands out for both for its shape and location. The 1.3 x 0.9 x 1.3 cm lustrous single crystal of incredibly lustrous, sharp sperrylite from this rare locality is especially notable for the size and the sharp cubic shape, without typical deformations you often see in large sperrylite specimens. It is from Brad Wilson (Kingston, Ontario, Canada). Photo by Jingnan Zhang. Featured in the book, Refined Elegance (Mineralogical Record, Nov. 2022) on page 137.
