This gorgeous and classic thumbnail specimen of apatite features a sharp, freestanding, complete apatite crystal atop a perfectly trimmed matrix. The crystal is 1.7 cm across, just thick enough to be colorful and just thin enough to allow light to pass through. It is elegant.
