This is a rich combination of intergrown Azurite and Malachite from Tsumeb. Both are coarsely crystallized, with the Azurites reaching up to 1.3 cm. The luster on any developed faces is quite good, as is the vivid color, and the Malachite does have beautiful shimmer on most of its exposed faces. This is a good locality piece for a specific reason or need to complete an older Tsumeb suite, representative of the failed modern mining era (these were found in a tunnel reached during efforts to dewater and mine for new specimens under a mineral dealer's consortium, in the early 2000's).
