One of the most recognizable of all European classic finds was the anatase on quartz specimens from a few pockets in the early 1970s, or maybe late 1960s, from Norway. We seldom see ANY of them turn up for sale at all, and this is an amazing, sharp, gemmy quartz with dozens of razor sharp anatase all over it, to 7 mm in size. It is a rare old classic, from one of our recent collection purchases. It was obtained from dealer Brad Van Scriver in Tucson in the 1980s. For the size, this is a really good, really rich example and, beyond that, it is actually "pretty" because it is more sparkly and bright than some of them were.
