A glamorous Fluorite and Quartz plate from China featuring a rich and colorful blanket of glistening purple Fluorite crystals with protruding "spikes" of slender Quartz crystals. The gemmy, purple, cubo-octahedral Fluorite crystals are all less than 1cm in size and are densely aggregated with the milky white Quartz prisms jutting out from them and range from 1 to 3.5cm in length. The overall effect here is great contrast and texture between the bright purple, lustrous Fluorite crystals and the protruding, satin-lustrous milky white Quartz crystals! In very good condition with only a few Quartz crystals broken flush with matrix. Gorgeous large plate!
