Fluorapatite and Fluorite

The ArkenstoneFeatured
Green fluorite is uncommon in this location. This specimen is a really unusual combination, a floater cluster of apatite and fluorite. By floater, we mean that it is complete all around with no damage, nor any points of contact. It truly is special in the overall look and style, with the unusual green fluorites sandwiching the apatite in the middle. Under fluorescent light of either spectrum, the apatite will glow with strong orange/yellow colors. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 81478
