A distinctive Sturmanite specimen consisting of over a dozen or so sharp hexagonal crystals. The Sturmanites have good luster and an appealing bronze-toned color. These translucent crystals have a very interesting habit - basically prismatic, hexagonal crystals with truncated pyramidal terminations. The largest is 1.8 cm tall, and it pairs beautifully with the smaller .8 cm crystal next to it. There is even a nice pocket on the reverse side. The white that you see is where some minor peripheral Sturmanites have been broken off (actually, a nice contrast with the upright crystals remaining). Overall a very displayable piece, from 1980s finds here.
