This is the classic old locale for textbook sharp atacamite crystals, that show clearly such form and symmetry. It would date to the late 1800s. Lustrous and translucent, dark-green crystals to 1.3 cm in length, with occasional emerald green highlights, compose nearly all of this specimen. Richly crystallized, although there is admittedly some damage as apparent in photos, it is a significant locality specimen.
