With crystals to 5 cm, sharpness and perfection all around, and a pleasing color, this is a superb example in the size range for the classic scheelites that came out in the 1990s. It has a glistening almost wet luster, and is somehow just sharper than most. The 360 degree completeness of it stands out in a world where most such specimens occur and are harvested on thin plates or blocky matrix. This, however, is elegant! Steve Smale purchased this in China in the heyday of production for this mine, in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He kept it until recently, and we are proud to offer it as few specimens of this quality can be found on the modern market today. It is very heavy, very 3-dimensional, and very impactful.
