A cluster of transparent Fluorite crystals are mounded up on this small cabinet piece and it possesses some subtle and super cool attributes...it's infiltrated by wormy Strontianite inclusions and coils of Boulangerite! There are a dozen clear, pale lavender Fluorites on this piece all of which have the dominant cube form modified by the dodecahedron; the cube faces are glassy whereas those of the dodecahedron have a matte luster. The Fluorites average 1.5 cm in maximum dimension and are somewhat tightly grouped, but still distinct. The clear cube faces easily reveal the light colored, slender, wavy and climbing Strontianite growths that look like seagrass frozen in time! Closer examination into the clear portions of the crystals reveal numerous, very thin, silver gray coils of Boulangerite (or possibly bismuthinite or a mix of the two)! This is a very complex and wondrous specimen on the inside and attractive on the exterior too! The Fluorites are juxtaposed to a yellowish tan, granular matrix that may be Strontianite itself. What a piece! Unique.
