This multi-colored, gemmy Liddicoatite Tourmaline crystal comes from general area in the Haute Matsiatra Region of Madagascar. There's an unusual pegmatite field in this area where these gem crystals have been found. This crystal displays varying shades of olive green at the unterminated end where it mixes and intermingles with the dark pink to mauve body of the crystal; and culminates in a saturated green, pyramidal termination. The Elbaite crystal exhibits striations along its splendid 4.1cm length and weighs in at 17.6 grams
