A sharp cluster of octahedral Fluorites from China. The sharp, intergrown Fluorites create their own, virtual mountain range, lining up as their terminations create distinct peaks that define the horizon. The fabulous aesthetics of this cluster are enhanced by the crystals themselves, which are gemmy and clear with purple zoning along the outer portions of each octahedron. These zones both contrast and complement each other, which makes the crystals 'jump' visually. Some of the edges are subtly beveled, and there is remarkably little edgewear. The pics show just how aesthetic and fine this piece is. Unique pocket, from early in 2018.
