While Stak Nala tourmalines are immediately recognizable and we have all seen a fair number, as they came out in quantity in the 1980s and 1990s, out of all of those early finds there was one pocket that was considered so desirable in the 1990s that people sought out actively at the time - these few with a thin pastel blue termination at one end (more obvious in person). I cannot recall seeing but a few since. Rare blue tips in tourmalines are always valued, but these are particularly elegant. Since the 1990s, the location has continued to produce, but not at the quality of these elegant early specimens. This piece is particularly nice, with pink, green, and the clear zone before the blue tip.
