Pyrargyrite rarely forms such nice 3-dimensional, complete all around specimens like this for a thumbnail collector. Often, you can buy a single crystal, but not a cluster like this - with a bit of matrix for contrast, as well! It is red when strongly backlit. The cluster is complete 360 all around, with just a tiny ding on the secondary tip but otherwise pristine. As with many of the carefully curated thumbnails in this fine collection, it has style and substance that make it stand out from a crowd of others in a thumbnail case.
