Several pockets of this strange-looking blue fluorite came out of Inner Mongolia, starting approximately in 2012, and they were large pockets with many pieces of material - now absorbed into the market worldwide (although some of the huge plates stayed in China with museums and collectors). However, most specimens simply did not have this nice isolation of crystals to them. The overall size and balance of this plate, with sharp crystals to 2.8 cm, makes it very appealing. It has no damage, and a special look of both hardness and softness at the same time, for lack of a better way to say it. The closer you look, the more complexity you see, as you notice that each crystal has many layers of fluorite, one atop another, giving subtle patterns.
