A stunning gem transparent example of the so-called king of garnets, tsavorite. However, most such crystals lack one or more quality: color, gemminess, sparkle, or transparency — this has all of those, together! It is a superb, competitive-worthy thumbnail specimen. Strangely, it fluoresces a pale yellow color under SW ultraviolet.
