Spain is not known for reticulated cerussite of high quality. This would be a good cerussite for any locality, right up there with Tsumeb or Arizona material from the old days. This piece stopped me in my tracks, when I saw it. It is a TSUMEB quality cerussite, from SPAIN! Fine, reticulated twinning or 'bridge girder effect' highlights this lustrous cerussite. Any Spanish cerussites are relatively uncommon in today's mineral marketplace, but I had no idea the country had ever produced a piece like this. Apparently from a small pocket in March 2014, this is the real thing (as verified by Jordi Fabre), and comes from the significant collection of Ignacio Gaspar Sintes, with label. Simply stunning, and one of those few pieces that truly surprise me after nearly 35 years of looking at minerals, to see something so unprecedented on the market.
