Pyromorphite from Arizona is not common to begin with, although known from a few finds at this remote mine in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. This specimen is a thin cast, completely made up of tiny pyromorphite crystals forming a thin plate with "bubbles" in the middle. It seems to have formed over another mineral, presumably a calcite or quartz, that is now gone. It is a colorful, fun specimen for the Arizona or pyro locality collector.
