Gemmy and lustrous, this beautifully zoned toenail Elbaite Tourmaline crystal from Brazil displays a rainbow of subtle colors. The bottom portion of the crystal is gem clear with a yellow tint grading to pale gem pink into a wider, translucent, grass green zone back to pale gem pink then a gemmy green zone with at least two phantoms! A sharply formed and terminated, lightly striated Elbaite Tourmaline crystal with a couple of microblemishes and two patches of internal crazing. Lovely! VERY unique crystal from a single small pocket of about 2015
