A classic 1980s-era specimen of beautiful pink rhodochrosite from the ore mines in Cavnic area of Romania. This plate has a particularly unusual sparkly for the material, and is a nice shape with rolling hillocks of crystallization atop quartz matrix (and some white quartz poking out at edges). No damage!
