For someone interested in an amazing reference specimen, this is the piece. It displays all the elements someone interested in the mineralogy of this deposit could want in a piece. Under the scrutiny of a loop, the Chalcopyrite crystals on the surface of the outer layer are well definite and contact highlights interesting habit of this find. The corona surrounding the spheres is defined by a fabulous magenta at contact with underlying sulfide, and in side profile you can see how the rim tracks the balls and the relationship between the Chalcopyrite and the bustimacated matrix. The relationship between the sulfides and the mudstone is prominently displayed on the backside alongside a xenolith of a green mineral.
