Gwindels from the high Swiss Alps are one of the most treasured of mineral classics. A gwindel is a twisted quartz of a special style, that results in these characteristic and extreme terminations and shapes. The twist on this one is also very much more observable in person. This is a sharp specimen with extraordinary gemminess! Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 75143
