An exceptional matrix Goboboseb Quartz piece with a single, large, 8.8cm Quartz crystal nested with numerous other smaller Quartz crystals, aesthetic and without repair. The top of the prominent sharply formed Quartz crystal is largely very pale Smoky followed by distinct Smoky and Amethystine phantoms that dominate much of the upper portion of the crystal. The phantoms within are all "complete" and are shaped just like nearly complete crystal tips and the main Smoky area is quite obvious due to a large Smoky nebulosity in one area. The remainder of this attractive piece consists of many glassy, transparent Quartz crystals that range from less than a1cm up to nearly 3cm and some display inclusions of what may be Lepidocrocite. A very aesthetic matrix Quartz cabinet piece from this classic locality. Ex. Shields and Frances Flynn Namibian collection with label.
