A very rare combination specimen from this classic French Rare Earth elements rich mine, which has produced many of the best examples of such species in Europe. Here we have a nice matrix of dolomite surmounted by thin, elongated, translucent allanite crystals to 1.4 cm, and a single vertical, translucent/transparent and perfect bastnäsite of exceptional quality and that is about the same size (1.5 cm across). Please note, this was (cleanly) repaired by us after shipment. It is, as far as a display specimen goes, one of the finest we have seen for sale.
