Pyromorphite (illustrated)
Pyromorphite of this color from the Bunker Hill came out in the early 1990s and revolutionized what you could expect from the mine. This elegant and three-dimensional specimen was then featured in the Mineralogical Record by 1993 as a superb example in its size class (Vol 24, page 356). It features elongated yellow crystas laying atop a rind of orangey-yellow arsenian pyromorphite, for a classic and intense color palette. In person, the lighting is a little different from the color of the halogen photography bulbs, and it looks more yellow atop and more orangey at the base. In any case, it is certainly what is referred to by collectors as "Bunker Hill Yellow" in color. The specimen was in several collections since that time. Photo by Joe Budd. Comes with a custom lucite base. Rotating video available at https://goo.gl/zcEmg5
