This gorgeous miniature, from the type locality of the species, has brilliant dark-yellow-colored blades up to 0.5cm, covering an area 5 cm across. Rich specimens like this are rare and are characteristic of finds from the 1980s. The paradamite sits on deep brown iron-stained ore, providing wonderful contrast. XRD testing at the University of Arizona confirmed the identification of this as paradamite, not legrandite. A fine, rich, colorful display specimen!
