Legrandite from Ojuela Mine has only come out in relatively few pockets over time since the early 1980s. Each pocket seems to have different characteristics, in visual appearance and crystal shape, from most others. This is a particularly unusual style; the specimen is a floating cluster of gorgeous lemon-peel-yellow crystals, which are translucent when backlit. Some minor matrix is attached in back. The purity of the canary yellow color on these really sets them off from most other legrandite finds, as much as the different crystal style of rounded clusters. This is one of the finer, larger examples from the find.
